Nancy is the leader of Cayenne's Small Business Certification consulting practice.

With more than 25 years of management, marketing, sales, and operational experience, Nancy Clauss has developed a sharp eye for helping businesses become more efficient, more strategically focused, and better positioned for growth. 

As an entrepreneur who quickly built her own successful consulting business, Nancy has seen firsthand the challenges that small business owners face when it comes to securing new opportunities and new sources of revenue. After working with a wide range of startups and ventures across nearly every industry, Nancy recognized the strategic value of small business certifications and discovered a passion for guiding others through the certification process.  

Over the past few years, she has dedicated herself to helping female-, veteran-, and minority-owned organizations navigate the ins and outs of certification. She takes pride in simplifying the process to make it as quick and as accessible as possible. In doing so, she helps businesses take advantage of set-aside government contracts and supplier diversity program resources, ultimately increasing long-term stability and profitability. 

Nancy hopes her work will continue to empower small business owners to grow and thrive while making a positive impact on the broader entrepreneurial community.

Nancy earned a BS in Liberal Studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara and holds a California Real Estate license.
