Lee Muhl’s consulting practice spans a number of industries and segments. Today, Lee works primarily with early-stage companies constantly in several technology-rich industries (i) AI/Advanced technology/Internet platforms for a variety of uses; (ii) Internet-based platforms for creating/funding distributing information/entertainment/content/edutainment systems, and (iii) technology-infused real estate (e.g., Proptech/Contech/smart buildings/smart-ag/smart cities.   

Beyond those core subjects, Lee's consulting practice over the past two decades is broad and has included a wide variety of industries, segments, and related funds and investment plans (e.g., fintech, health-tech, a wide variety of CRE (from SFR/MF/multi-use to assisted living), consumer products, hospitality (elite hotels/inns/STR/etc.), large entertainment studios, distributed ledger, insurance, lead-gen, IDE's, mobile apps, and PaaS-laaS-SaaS.

Lee is an experienced attorney, a former partner in two prominent Los Angeles transactional law firms, a former NASD securities licensee (Series 7 and 63), a former California Real Estate Broker, a three-time CEO and a two-time COO.   

Lee works in these fields as a Principal Consultant with Cayenne Consulting, LLC – focusing on early-stage innovations and companies in growth mode -- creating investment plans, market opportunity and feasibility studies, financial forecasts and “safe harbor” investment documentation for C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, vendors, distributors, and funders.  

Lee holds a B.A. in History from the University of California at Los Angeles and a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, where he served as a member and Senior Editor of the UCLA Law Review.
