Lee Muhl’s consulting practice spans several key industries and segments, including: 

(i)                  Real estate (e.g., working with sponsor/developers in SFR/MF/mixed-use/STNL (retail/medical-R&D, industrial, office), hospitality/hotels/specialty inns/STR, restaurant-bar, senior homes/assisted living, co-living/live-work, storage and warehousing;   

(ii)                Technology-infused real estate developments (e.g., projects using Proptech/ Contech/smart buildings and neighborhoods/smart-ag/vertical-ag);

(iii)               An extensive range of disruptive Internet platforms for PaaS-IaaS-SaaS, often fueled by AI/advanced technology (e.g., for mobile, media, marketing, sales, insurance, fintech, health tech, education, personal safety/law enforcement, etc.); and

(iv)               Traditional and technology-fueled entertainment concepts.

Beyond those core subjects, Lee’s consulting practice over the past two decades is broad and has included a wider variety of industries, segments, and related funds and investment plans and presentations. 

Lee is a member of the California State Bar, a former partner in two elite Los Angeles transactional law firms where he specialized in fundings, a former California Real Estate Broker, a former NASD securities licensee, and, at times, a C-suite executive in early-stage companies.

Today, Lee works in these fields as a Principal Consultant with Cayenne Consulting, LLC – focusing on early-stage innovations, disruptive concepts, and companies in growth mode -- creating investment plans/business plans, presentation decks, market opportunity and feasibility studies, financial forecasts, term sheets and “safe harbor” investment documentation for C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, vendors, distributors, and funders.

Lee holds a B.A. in History from the University of California at Los Angeles and a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, where he served as a member and Senior Editor of the UCLA Law Review.
