For more than 20 years, Gary has built and led collaborative teams of talented business professionals, physicians, scientists, and engineers leading to successful outcomes. He has identified opportunities, raised capital, articulated value propositions, and established and executed effective strategies in start-ups and global businesses to develop and expand markets in life sciences, medical diagnostics, and therapeutics. Gary is an accomplished CEO, COO, and GM with experience running a business with revenues of $250M. He has identified, negotiated, and maintained collaborations and alliances in Asia, Europe, and North America.
Gary was an NIH Post-Doctoral Fellow at the McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research & Biophysics Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin Madison, WI, and an NIH Pre-Doctoral Fellow in biochemistry at Western University London, Ontario.
At Georgia Tech, while pursuing his M.S., he was a NASA Fellow and evaluated the effects of microwaves on the survival of bacterial spores as part of the effort to decontaminate unmanned spacecraft prior to launch.
His B.S. in microbiology and chemistry is from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA.
Gary is an Ironman Finisher and amateur photographer.
